Courtyard Vows at Georgetown Residence | Shining Time Wedding

It was a magic journey planning this private and intimate backyard wedding in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. The couple is super motivated during the less than 4-month planning process. Since the property is a private residency, not a wedding venue at all, there were a lot of DIY we need to handle ourselves including but not limited to measure walls and bricks, plan floor plan, check power outlets, coordinate food display with caterer, contract servers and bartenders, etc. The space is a bit tight for 80 guests, but we made it work. The emotional vows, the delicious food, flavorful drinks, complementing colors, fun table numbers, romantic ambience, everything tied together to make this day magical. The day cannot go more smooth than this, but it won’t be accomplished with all the vendors working together.
